View Full Version : Who does YHM's barrels?

Anyone know who does the contouring, threading, chambering, rifling, etc on YHM barrels. They seem to have their own unique contour. Just got one in today and the parkerizing and barrel extension were some of the best I've seen in a long time.

According to this response (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showpost.php?p=1641166&postcount=9) from a YHM sales rep, they buy the blanks from ER Shaw and do the rest in-house. I have to say I agree with you. I had them build me a custom complete upper for a project build and the machining, fit, and finish are excellent. I ordered it in January and just received it last week.

Interesting. When I talked to them last year they said they had everything done outside YHM and couldn't help me with my issue (they told me it was one diameter when I ordered, it ended up being another, they had no clue, really).
