Anyone make one that can be disassembled? Have been reading up on them and want to place one on order. Which manufacturer to get?

I went through the same thing 6 months ago. After really doing my research I went with a MkIII that i sent out to Tornado Tech for threading and bought a SWR Spectre. I prefer having a few hosts for a suppressor compared to the integral. The Spectre is one tough can (FA rated).

Have a few cans currently on order and will get a detachable .22 can down the road but have decided on an integral for pistol use. Still researching but SRT is currently at top of the list. Anyone know (other than Gemtech) who built/builds these for Uncle Sugar.

Yeah, it's nice being able to switch suppressors from the pistol to a couple rifles and such. Any reason you want an integral suppressor?

Main reason is for overall length as I dont want to put a 6" can on the end of a 6" barrel.

I've got two Mk II's that I run with a Spectre can.

I've also been wanting to get into an integral. I think what I'll do is have Curtis Higgins of S&H in Oklahoma convert my existing Mk II that's stainless.

He did my MP5 and threaded P7 barrel conversion. I've used his integral pistol and rifle cans before on Ruger Mk II's and 10-22's. I was happy with those that I got to shoot.

I ended up going with the Oasis.

Cleaning by immersion is pretty easy.

I think the reason to go to an integral is durability.

No concern of the silencer loosening in the holster, no real worries about damaging the suppressor if you fall on the weapon, mostly fielding concerns.

The integral should be the same length as the host/muzzle can combo, because if it isn't most likely something is suffering (ie velocity and terminal balistics.)

There isn't a free lunch. The AWC amphibians had like 850FPS velocity... pretty poor velocity, and they were used by the SEALs. I think personally I'd want to see 935 or 950.

It's not like the .22lr is a high penetration round or anything. It needs all the help it can get.

Doug Melton at SRT is a great guy, easy to talk to, returns calls and makes an excellent product!
