Ok I see everyone with their Pmag dust covers stuck on the bottom of their mags. Mine don't fit, what gives?

Only newer PMags can do this.

It's how they get you to throw your old mags out and buy new ones.:p

I figured it was something like that

There's really no need for the feature. My mag covers don't ever leave the drawer of my reloading bench anyway.

I've already lost 90% of my dust covers to the big tactical gear bin in the sky.

Agreed. I would like to see a ranger floorplate designed dustcover, but then I have my doubts as to how reliable it would be after removing and installing over and over. Even Magpul polymers can wear out over time. For my applications I don't really have a use for the dust covers.

I leave mine on for pictures, but the ones I actually use for duty don't have dustcovers on them.

i keep finding piles of them crammed into corners i dont remember leaving them in.. gear goblins- and the only way to beat them is with more gear. vicious cycle.

It would be cool if they designed them so they doubled as beer bottle openers and then they would be easier to keep up with:D

They end up like caltrops around here.... the only problem is that I'm the only one stepping on them.

I toss mine into a box and forget them.

attach them to the bottom of the mag and watch them fly off as you drop a mag. useless feature imo.
