UPDATE!!!!!!well First off I have to thank everyone here on M4C for your help and knowledge .
after buying a few parts, I found this site and "the chart" .and I soon found myself selling parts and buying the parts that fit my needs better.so here she is just like what they handed me at FT KNOX.(well almost no go fast switch)
Colt Match Target M4 carbine Lower
Colt M4 Upper (M4 above gas hole with T-marks )
Colt M4 14.5 1/7 twist barrel
Colt side sling
Colt "N" marked early M4 Stock
Colt "H" Buffer and spring
Colt Removable Carry Handle
Colt US made M7 Bayonet
Colt M4 double heat shield Handguards
I think I drank the Colt Kool-aid
Sabre Defence Extended A2 Flash Hider
Bravo Company M16 Bolt Carrier Group
And No" LEO or MIL ONLY" marks (I hate that for some reason)
I had the Barrel Pinned By Steve at ADCO as you can see in the Picture I had them pin the FH on the Bottom and it was perfect .Steve Is the MAN!!:)

I like it adco did a real good job on the Saber Def ext a2. What was the turn around time from adco ? Have you decided on a sling.

super fast, I sent it to Steve last Monday and had it back a week later.I got a new GI issue Black Sling I am putting on it for now, til I find something better.I Just got to go sight it in someday if I ever get a day off from work..I am really pleased with the way it turned out :)

people "store" their weapons hammer-down, chamber empty, mag inserted.. variation on Condition 3. this is how all my ARs, but my go-to, are stored. go-to is condition 1.

we need to get together at the range you were telling me about , when i get some time (work is slamming )I got to get my weapon sighted in.

I lucked up and got one from Bravo Company ,just before the Buying frenzy took off.I have to say it is a real nice Extended A2 FH Sabre did a great job on this part. You could get on the "email when in stock" feature on BCM website and hope you get to them before they sell out .I wanted to keep this as close to what I trained with but Alabama failed to pass the SBR ruling last session so I had to pin it.Next I need to mount a light on it.

MMMM are you trying to make me Broke :eek:.I think I will stick with the Pmags,But if he wants to get rid of them , Oh wait!!!!!!! Must not buy anything for a while!!!! ( said in shaking voice:))

thinking of making a long range set up for my better half she is damn set on me building her something:( Means no new toys for me for a while.
I have a keyhole flat top M4 upper receiver sitting in the safe too
I did notice the "different feel" between the Colt grip and the one on the double star .colt feels more rubber texture and the DS is straight up Plastic feeling

Good stuff Dude. That is a sweet Pony for sure...
I tried to replicate the M4 I had in the 101st in Iraq for a while, but then I caved to the call of LaRue and Magpul. :D It's heart is in the right place though (14.5" barrel, 7" handguard).
That would be Corps. ;)
I think my buddy still has some colt mags he got from the corp. :D;)

well about 2years ago, I started with a DS Lower then I found this web site.
I started Buying all the Colt I could afford that started at the end of last year. I bought my first colt piece Here on M4C the carry handle,then the early M4 stock,Barrel,upper and just last week I found the Lower.
I could have gone with the 6920 Lowers, But I can't stand the LEO and MIL Only Markings ,so I have been saving and looking for a Match target Lower.like trying to find hens teeth.about 6 month on just the lower.I think it was worth it:D
