This appears to be something they use AFTER they confiscate the firearms. As a cheap way to get rid of them. They won't be able to just fly over and spray it and only affect the firearms etc...

So, once they confiscate the firearms (in Iraq or anywhere else) do we really care how they disable them?

Oy vey. Sounds somewhat caustic and not very environmentally friendly. It also sounds like it can be used against any mechanical device to include our own weapons and vehicles.

That sums up my feelings as well. Might as well be disturbed by bulldozers...

Wow! I can't help but wonder what that stuff would do to the user if he got it on his hands.

Then oops, he accidently touched his webbing, a magazine, or his own rifle. Oops, something happened, a bead of sweat dripped in his eye, he scratches it.
