Tanners Sport Center in PA has Colt 6920's for $1,175.

I have no affiliation with this and no financial gain from it. Posting for those people with money and an interest.

Saw the thread on another forum (FN FiveSeven) http://www.fivesevenforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4512

This doesn't surprise me at all. Most vendors ordered way too heavily during the "craziness" and now that colt is shipping rifles, everyone is inundated with them. Where I work has about 120 6920's and 50 6940's still on backorder with about 20 more 6920's just sitting in the shop. All I can say is if you want one, now is the time to make a deal.

I'm sure colt's wallet is pretty fat from this lot.

Well, now I'm separated from another $1200 of my money:rolleyes:
Actually another $1560 as I see the new Daniel Defense Omega X 12.0 FSP
is available for $344.:(
I need to stay away from this site for a while.

Anybody want to buy a RRA entry tactical w freefloat rails? :D

Colt said they spent something like 3 mil this year to increase tooling and infrastructure in order to increase production of the LE line of rifles. So the supply is going to continue. This is fantastic news, as prices normalize more great rifles will find new homes. I believe Pat Rogers said Colt told him they are going to produce 1,000 6940s and 1,300 6920s a month.

ETA - Someone has 6920s for $1099. I paid $1300 a few weeks ago but it's OK, I'm never getting rid of it so...

I just picked up my first one for 1350 a while back, now I'm wishing I waited.

If this supply stabilizes and prices stay this way then Colt is now leaps and bounds ahead of other makers of M4 type weapons. Who in their right minds would now spend just $100 less on a DPMS or RRA?

If you are referring to Tanners, then yes, it is a very legit source. And they will ship to any FFL dealer anywhere in the country (maybe not CA)

They are a huge dealer in PA and strong on FN products. They do a lot of internet and Gunbroker sales as well. On the FN Forum they are now in the process of delivering pre-orders for a 30 SCAR shipment that they just received.

Strumgewehr I cannot speak for.

This is too funny. I'm thinking of all those guys who bought two extra 6920s at the top of the market and kept them in the boxes because they're going to be worth trillions some day! :p

I remember 6 months ago the ones you're talking about going for 1699-1899 on GB. :D

I still feel dumb now for paying 1350

Come on guys. With Olys going to 900 were Colts worth 1300? Yes it is twice the better weapon. With SCARs going for 6k, is a SCAR worth almost 5 Colts?
If bans come or everything goes to crap your Colt will be worth twenty time the 1300 to you and your family. You got the Gold standard, move on to getting some training with it.

What is funny, now you can add a DD rail and rear BUIS and it will cost almost as much as a DD.

The company mentioned in the Strumgewehr ad is very good. I have personally bought two firearms from Jeff, and he has excellent prices and service. He is at all the shows here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and runs a solid business.
