ACE Skeleton Stock

A friend of mine is thinking about putting an ACE entry-length skeleton stock on an AR lower that he's building. He wants it to be a SHTF/gen purpose rifle so he's kind of worried the durability of the foam cheek piece. Does anybody have any positive or negative comments about the cheek piece or about that particular stock?

Too short for general purpose. Had a rifle with one..took it off.

I have the Ace entry stock on my "trunk gun" build. The length is a matter of personal preference; I like the length. As far as the foam cheek piece, it's pretty durable but it can drag a little on your CH.

The foam cheek piece is a wear item that can be replaced, like so many other parts on your platform.
