I know nothing about the 6.8 so here goes. Does it require a different lower than the 5.56? Will 5.56 mags work or do you have special 6.8 mags. Will a complete 6.8 upper fit on a 5.56 lower? Thanks for the help.Like I said I know nothing about the 6.8 except what I have been able to read here.Thanks for your time.

The only differance between 5.56 and 6.8 is the barrel, bolt, and magazine. The lower is the exact same.

Lowers are interchangeable, 6.8 uses specific mags, and a 6.8 upper will work on a 5.56 lower.

All is interchangeable except for mags and bolt (bolt carriers will work, but a dedicated 6.8 carrier is the best way to go).

I don't actually own one, but I have done my homework on this subject.
