Anyone Besides Samson(STAR-CX-EBR) Make 10" Rail with Cutout for Carbine w Fixed FS?

Well,
My DD XV is on it's way from Grant(THANKS GRANT!) and I now I'm looking for a rail system. I like the way the 10" Samson(STAR-CX-EBR) looks and was wondering if anyone besides Samson makes one with a cutout for Carbine system w/ Fixed FS? I saw UTG's cheap model, but can't stand the look.......Like the Samson, but trying to spend closer to $200 for a rail......I've seen the DD Omega but no extended length for Carbine available.:confused::mad:

I was hoping to put a Vltor CASV-EL, but heard that it won't cowitness and EOTech 557 that I eventually want to install......that's no good.

It's not 10 inches but daniel defens has a 9.5 inch fsp lite rail that has the cut out for a fsp

well... DD makes a few different FSB rails.. put a DD FSB or FSBM rail on your DD stick.

also, SWS recently started producing FSB rails- www.superiorweaponssystems.com

Midwest Industries has a drop in rail exactly like you want. They have FF and non-FF versions. I've been looking at the same thing.

To clarify, it is not the "same function", as that MI rail is a "drop-in" and is NOT free-floated from the barrel.

With such a high quality hammer forged barrel, why not opt for a free-floated rail system?

You could always get the DD Omega-X that comes on the DDM4 as OEM from Rainier Arms:

And you wont have to butcher the bottom of your fixed FSB like you will need to with the Samson.

The MI Extended Carbine rail is available in FF and non FF models. At least according to MI's website it is.

The point was to pay $100 less for a rail that has the same function, not more.....For $303, I'd be getting the Samson(STAR-CX-EBR) based on looks;
BUT, I need that extra $100 right now to buy an ambi-safety, Maglevel mags, ammo, a weapon mount for my Inova Inforce Color Flashlight, etc., a CAA stock saddle, a MIAD pistol grip with waterproof insert, an EOTech 557, the 4x magnifier, etc. etc.:).....Damn the list never ends:rolleyes:....
