Does anyone have a source for the low profile nuts that companies such as MI use to attach rail sections to A2 style handguards?

If not, does anyone know of commonly available hardware that would fit the bill? The hard part is finding something with a large enough diameter to stay on the inside of the vent hole, while remaining thin enough to fit under the heat shields.

Any help is appreciated.

dig around at www.mcmaster.com.
Can usually find whatever you look for there, hardware-wise.

Thanks, couldn't find the exact item but some others that will work. Also many more that I had been searching for to use on other projects.

Yeah, it occurred to me that I should have clarified a bit better.
I knew you wouldn't find the exact thing but likely something that would work as well and likely quite a bit cheaper.
McMaster has all kinds of kewl schnit.

I said I would take any alternative, so thanks again for showing me that site. Tons of cool odd-ball stuff there. Hardware searches on the internet can take up a lot of time, unless you have a very specific nomenclature.
