Who makes the best M4's completes these days ? looking to spend around $1500. I m new to the M4 world. I live in a hunting area so I can't get any advise on M4's here. any and all advise would be appreciated

Short answer- Colt, LMT, Noveske, Sabre, and BCM for uppers

Colt 6920 from SGC USA for $1250, includes removable carry handle/rear sight, two 20 round mags.

My vote goes to Daniel Defense. It's cheaper than the Colt, and offers more IMO.

My opinion may be a little biased beccause my 6920 just came in, but I'm gonna go with Colt 6920. The prices have come down and you can't go wrong with a colt. However, I'm also in the process of a build with an LBR lower, so get what suits you. But for duty, I got the Colt.

what exactly are your plans for this rifle? Defense? Range/Plinker ? Hunting? Work Gun ?

It all depends on how are you going to use your m4.

There are different specs for each use Cplayer. :)
