I just ordered my first 1911(Springfield Loaded Black Stainless Combat) and am looking for a good armorers book on them since everything I have read says they are slightly finicky, but fairly easy to work on if you understand what you are doing. I would like to pickup a book to learn and guide me through working on and adjusting my pistol if it needs it. Any recommendations? I searched on here, but didnt find anything for 1911's only Glock armorers books.

Get the Kunhausen 1911 Shop Manuals. They're harder to work on than they appear.

I am only seeing Vol 2's available, even direct from the publisher. Any sources for Vol 1 or is it not needed?
