Need money for a wedding ring so my baby has to go. I've had this 1911 for about 2 years and it is simply the finest 1911 I have ever owned in terms of function, fit, and accuracy. It is scary accurate and dead nuts reliable. I use CMC Powermags with it and it plain RUNS.
Started life as a new Colt Series 70 reproduction. Sent it to Yost Bonitz Shop for their 1* enhanced package that consisted of:

Fitted beavertail grip safety

Tool steel slide stop

Extended thumb safety

Lower & flare ejection port
*
Complete 1911 dependability package including; Wilson Bulletproof extractor, tune ejector, polished feed ramp, throated barrel, polished breech face, polished cartridge pick-up rail, chamfer firing pin hole, polished chamber, ream chamber if necessary
*
Steel serrated mainspring housing
*
Hand-filed beveled magazine well
*
Extended ejector
*
Complete de-horning
*
Wolff spring set
1* logo etched into right-rear side of slide
I also had a Kart Match barrel fitted and a Nowling ext mag release added. After using it for a while, I sent it to Bob Miller of Miller Custom to fit a S&A magwell. He ordered the magwell with no hole for the mainspring pin and drilled it himself so it fits perfectly flush with the bottom of the frame. He them golfballed the front strap and mainspring housing, added a 10-8 flat trigger and 10-8 rear .140" sight. Then it was sent to Drakes Gun Works for Melonite. The trigger is fantastic, right at 4 pounds and super crisp.
This is one hell of a 1911 that I've trained with and carried extensively. I've owned damn near every make and model of 1911, both custom and production and this one is the best hands down. Most people who have shot it agree with that sentiment.
Note: Does not come with the tan gunner grips.
