Banks are businesses, and if you don't like the service offered by any business, you should vote with your dollars. Glad to see he successfully did so.

Good man. I like how the bank still tried to imply he would have problems making payments, despite him never having such problems at all.

I bet the person(s) counting the money weren't responsible for the denial of the loan.

I bet they got paid the same regardless of if they were just sitting there, or counting money.

In fact, most tellers I know would love to stand there and count money for one person rather than deal with 60 different yahoo's. :p

Agreed! I really tire of the lack of personal service these days.

I do my banking at a branch of a large bank but I met the manager on day one and anytime I have an issue with a teller cashing a check, etc. I just ask for him. He takes care of me everytime and even notorized my concealed permit application!

Sweet! I went to my bank to get a mortgage and they said no. I got the mortgage anyhow and I'm way ahead on my payments. When my home is paid off I'de like to screw them like that. Good for him.:)

Local guy parked in the bank lot and did his Christmas shopping. Popped into the bank, told them he was a customer and asked to have his ticket validated. Loan officer said no, he had to see a teller. He asked again. She said no. He went to see a teller, cleared $6,000,000 out of the bank via cashiers check and left.
