Cold

A guy at my local IDPA club does a unique spray on finish for guys who shoot in SSP but want something grippy that does not move them into ESP.
He used to work in the Marine industry and does a 3 layer coating. He has done it for years on glocks and I approached him about doing it for AR mags. Recently, I dropped an AR mag when sweaty on a stage and was unhappy to say the least, time added is no bueno.
This coating would be great for those with gloves on or in general shitty weather conditions.
Here are 2 mags, one Pmag and another USGI alum mag.
I am going to have him do a few more comp mags I use, only add another inch of coating, the pics show approx 2 inches high of coating, I think 3 would be perfect!

About the coating from the owners webpage:
"The blue enhanced slide at the top of every page is an actual Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) image done on a coated plastic spackle knife by a very satisfied customer. The slide has a 1mm scale to reference in the image. Note the matrix of trapped particels that allows moisture/dirt/oil to escape and stand away from the control surfaces of the hand. Tacti-grip actually feels BETTER when it is wet!"
