Ranger Floor Plates

Ok, so I bought some Ranger Floor Plates and Installed them. I turned to the back part of the instructions and read that you should only load the magazine with 29 rounds unless you have the magpul followers. I have USGI mags with the green followers. Can I still put all 30 rounds in the magazine? Thanks for the help and sorry for the noob question.

you should only load to 28 or 29 anyway, if you're looking to do every last little thing you can to squeeze out every last little bit of reliability from your system. my guess is they've experienced some feeding issues in GI mags during ranger plate testing. otherwise, they wouldnt' make a pointless recommendation.

gonna be your call. i dont use ranger plates, but i do load the GI mags i have to 30.
