Lots of info, should answer all of your Q's. Open discussion.
Thanks for the update, like many others I am very excited about this project.

Just another plastic gun.
The handguards will melt.
The receiver will break.
Plastic wont hold up for a gun in the long run.
It doesnt do anything that a M1A/M14, AR15/M16, Sig 556, Robarm XCR wont do.
Plastic doesnt cost this much, your just trying to make a lot of money off people.
Its ugly.
You dont even include a rear sight.
I dont like it so I'm not buying one.
It doesnt interest me at all.
The name is stupid.
Blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Yack yack yack yack yack yack.
There. Now that we have that out of the way. Is mine ready yet???
Thanks for the info dump kopper. I was trying to decide on a piston driven upper before the SHOT show, but after seeing the MASADA the decision was easy...none. I'll be waiting for the MASADA to hit the shelves.
Joe R.- your name really confuses me. Just thought I'd tell you that again! :p
Drake- you know the rules- new thread= new pictures!!!
Following a link to a pdf is too hard for some of us!
ETA: I just started reading. One very important point, the most important up to where I am at the moment in the .pdf, is the fact that this weapon was developed WITHOUT the intention of satisfying a range of criteria given by the government for testing. With this in mind, I can feel pretty secure knowing that only the important and most useful design features were incorporated, not anything which some people would usually say was specified by someone who hasn't been to the battlefield in decades and sits behind a desk...

It's difficult to get my wife interested in guns, but her jaw was dropped by that video.
Tell me it was from the rifleand not my stunning good looks:rolleyes:

LOL! That's a deal! It cost me a lot more then that to get rid of the last one!
Me too bud. Mine cost me a PVS-14, two rifles and more than I care to think about a month.

And back on topic......the Masada's carrier, rod and sping. In other news, my nose hairs were well groomed prior to the show this year.

No way dude. I thought she didn't even know about it.
B,
She never knew about it. I had to sell it to pay for my lawyer. I miss it already, let me know if you are going to toss out any 14's:p

I could reply so many different ways with that.............
I assume when thye 7.62x39 set up is installed the bolt carrier will be swaped out along with the bolt and marked as such ? I could see 6.5 Grendal and 6.8 SPC easily adapted to the Masada as well.
Is there going to be a 5.45 x 39 option?
It has rapidly become my cheapest ammo

Alexander Arms used to sell 5.45x39 as .21 Genghis. The bolts are out there, you'd just have to find one. I don't think AA is selling that stuff anymore though.
Thanks...but I was wondering if the Masada will be offered with the option

Here is the 5.45 Masada lower. Yes, the plan is to have this as an option.

Have you guys considered a heavy barrel with the handle optimized to make it a quick change barrel for sustained fire? Maybe with something like an improved, i.e. durable, Beta C-Mag?
