I took the dogs for a walk down the common road this morning before the rains and crazy heat. They were practically side by side maybe 30-40 yards ahead of me when they both suddenly cut a wide birth and alerted to something in the middle of the road. This was the offending critter, it was a good three and a half footer maybe even four. For those that may not know it is a Red rat snake. It obviously has be doing it's job and doing so just recently. I scooped it up took some photos and turned it loose under our mini barn. (For reference that is my size 11 4E foot.)

You should have taken a pic of your rifle with the snake draped on it. That would have been cool.
