My friend Mark Vorobiev will be offering a fairly unique class to US shooters,
a Spetsnaz Sniper Course

Mark served in a Soviet Spetsnaz unit during the Soviet campaign in Afghanistan as a sniper, was
awarded the Order of the Red Star for his actions in combat and was wounded in action. He is a
Master of Sports of USSR in SAMBO and Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Judo.

He will be offering courses based on Soviet Spetsnaz methodology and doctrine. The first will be a
Spetsnaz sniper course. This should appeal to collectors of Soviet weapons as well as shooters
looking for a practical insight into how the Russians did things. Keep in mind, the Soviets sent
advisers all over the world, and had a strong influence on the sniper/designated marksman doctrine of many of our enemies including North Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. This class would also be valuable to Active Duty Army soldiers serving in a Designated Marksman slot. A good AR DMR should do very well in this course.

The unit Mark served in was hugely successful in operations against the Muj and he has much practical experience gained in actual combat to share. Much of what he will be teaching has never been offered before in the US.

Classes will be held on my range in Chapman, Kansas which is just outside of Fort Riley.
Large discounts are given to Active Duty Military
In the future more conventional (carbine and medical and armorers) courses will be added.
