View Full Version : Who here has recently had a Form 1 or Form 4 approved??

Looking for someone who has recently had one of these approved and received your stamp. Trying to get an idea of how long the lead times are right now because I've heard several things and when I called the BATFE for another question they said they couldn't give an ETA on these. If we can get some input from those that have recently gotten approved perhaps we can get an approximation. My buddy sent his off before me so as soon as his arrives I can post back his lead time to add to the numbers.

I sent a Form 1 off end of January and didn't get it back approved until the first week in June (filed as Corp.). I have a good friend that just sent off a Form 1 as a Corp. and I'm curious if the lead times have improved with the slow down in gun sales.

Has anyone established if it's taking longer for corp and less time for personal or is it all pretty much the same?

Yeah, I ended up finding that thread earlier but after I already posted this thread. I guess it didn't come up under any of the title searches I did based on the title of the thread.

Trust are getting back a bit faster.

Im waiting on a F4 individual now and im at 115 days since my check was cashed (April 8th.)

Filed a Form 1 as a Trust on 3/12/09. Form 1 was approved 7/24/09. Received my Tax Stamp back from ATF 7/29/09. So it looks like Trust apps are taking approx. 4 months. Hope the info helps.

I will be sending a form 4 off this week for a HALO can. My last four form 4s took about 3-4 months each but that was back in the day before they were down to one month or less. Now I understand that they are back to the 3-4 month time frame.

Mine was a Form 1 SBR under my Corporation. Received in WV on 05/10/09, approved on 07/27/09 and in my mailbox 07/31/09.

my form 1 was a personal one. check was cashed on the 8th of april of 2009. it was approved and back at my house on the 3rd of july 2009. so roughly 90 days.

Now this makes me mad. My check was cashed on the same day but yet here I still wait............... I know it dosent do any good to bitch but I mean come on....:mad:
