I was on G & R comparing prices on the BCM and the LMT 14.5 uppers and I got to thinking which one? Prices are pretty similiar for all parts (upper, lower, BCG) quality is very close, which would you choose and why? Or would you choose something different all together?

Each one is a great choice and will do everything you need it to. I own and run both BCM and LMT gear and probably could not pick a favorite. If I was made to chose I would probably go with the BCM, but that's just because Paul is my hero!

Along with the park and taper pins, I would pick the BCM just because I really appreciate what Paul has done with the BCM line. There was a hole in the market for uppers that adhered to the TDP at an affordable price and Paul decided to do something about it. I like to support that kind of initiative.

This is the reason why I would go with BCM for a 14.5". I have been waiting for this upper to come out and planning on picking one up soon.

I've owned half a dozen of each, various lengths (no BCM 14.5s though).

I prefer the BCM. One of the LMTs had issues (functional issues, not "omg my upper has a spot on it") and LMT CS was very slow to respond.

Never had to deal with BCM CS, but every other facet of the operation is outstanding, so...

I just ordered my second LMT upper from Bravo Company. My first is a 14.5 inch and the one I just ordered is a 16". having said that I was planning on getting a BCM 16" but they have been out of stock for a while. My 14.5" LMT shoots superb. I think that they are both excellent. My buddy has a 16" mid BCM and he likes it as well. ;)

Just your NFA paperwork, $200 and the long wait of approval...

I'm going to pin the FH. If I was going to go through the process of the NFA/200 bucks I would get a 10.5

I'm extremely happy with my LMT. I'm sure the BCM is quality too. Flip a coin.

Gotta agree... Both are great.... but if BCM offers the upper I want, they are my 1st choice.

I own an LMT 14.5" with a pinned vortex. I love it. No experience with the BCM other than rave reviews from users on this forum and others.
