It looks like the Millett DMS 1x4 will do for all I need. I fondled one at the local retail shop I'm about to place an order but I'm not sure which mount to use.

I want a one piece removable that will allow the Millett to clear my rear buis (Troy Folding Battle Sight). Right now I have the American Defense Recon in my shopping cart with Midway. Will this mount allow the Millet to clear the sight?

Thank you.

I don't know if this will help but this is mine with the American Defense Recon X mount. This flip up sight is a YHM.

I went for it and the mount works just fine. For the record, here is a cheesy picture

How do you like that american defense mount. I have all Larues but I jusy got a Bobro for an Aimpoint but the AD look pretty solid as well.

the mount is made well and is adjustable for off spec rails. It came with some red goop for the screw threads that was a shade watery but worked well enough. I guess the only complaint is that I had to put a fair amount of torque on the screws to snug the rings to the mount. Enough that when I first put it all together I decided to pull it apart to make sure I didn't crimp the scope. So much that the screws squeaked a bit but everything is solid with no issues.
