My old range bag just bit the dust. I am looking for a new one. I have not had to buy one in many years. Not trying to start a brand war but who makes good, big durable ones?

Thanks

I have been using these for 10 years now. Really nice. Pricey but nice. I have seriously over-stuffed it for long periods of time and it is still running.

Several people I know and shoot with have (and love) the MidwayUSA range bag:

From what I've seen, they seem to be a good bag for the money and have a lot of space. They also make a smaller one:

When my TAC Force bag gives up the ghost, I'm looking to replace it with one of those.

I've been using the Green Mountain Stock Bag as pictured in LonghunterCO link for the past nine years and it is still going strong.

I've been using this same bag for the last 18 - 24 months. I've been extremely pleased with the features and quality of the Eagle Industries Pro Shooter bag.

I've been using a Maxpedition MPB for two years now. It's holding up just fine. In fact, it still looks brand new. It's nice and rigid so it stays open (unlike some bags I've seen that fall closed on themselves). It is versatile enough for a variety of applications.

Since ammo prices have gone through the roof I now primarily shoot pistol and have my MPB set up for pistol shooting. It easily fits the following with some room to spare:

earmuffs
400 rounds of 45 ACP in a dump pouch/ammo bag
a few ready tactical mag holders
two brass bags
timer
six 8 round magazines
six ten round magazines
notebook
lube
a handful of earplugs
snap caps
pens & markers
10-8 armorer's tool

I usually bring both of my Wilson's out to the range with me, carrying on and stuffing the other in my MPB along with the rest of this junk. It works out just fine.
