So I'm working at the FD tonight, and we just got back from call at the local PD range. It was SWAT workout day and one of the cops got dehydrated and passed out (it's well over 100 degrees today). We walk into the range house and all I see is tables covered in SBR, M-16's, boatloads of mags and ammo and Glocks. I did look closely to verify that the rifles were full auto, they were, but what puzzled me was the lack of a common brand. There were Colts, Bushmasters, even DPMS, but all were full auto variants, and all had barrels significantly less than 16"! I did not notice any suppressors though. They did however, offer to invite us out to shoot their weapons sometime! Hope that pans out, but with the cost of ammo, I doubt it.
