New 870 Police

Just bought a 870 Police with the seven shell extension. It looks like it will be exactly what I want. Maybe I will add a shell carrier, but is about it. I will now have to get some 000 & 00 Buck to check out how it shoots and patterns. Also some slugs. I will, however, have to wait 10 days before I can bring it home (California you know)

They're the Gold Standard when it comes to pump action serious social scatterguns.

I'd forego the 000 buck and stick with 00 buck, I have had best luck with Federal Flite Control LE and the Winchester loads, both 2 3/4". There's no real reason to go with anything bigger than 2 3/4" shells.

Outstanding!!!!!I just got one with the seven shell extension .I bought a set of the scattergun technology Ghost rings to put on.
I agree Templar stick to the 00 bucks.I have been shooting the Winchester Military grade 9 pellet 2 3/4 00 buck for HD .nice pattern .
I just got some Nobel LE 12 pellet 00 buck I have not got to shoot any yet.but it says 2 3/4 But it is longer.

I am lucky to be living in a Free state :D I could not wait to get home to fondle My new 870 ,But 10 days for a Long gun:rolleyes: I know you got to be ready to go Blasting..Make sure you put some pics in the Shotgun pic thread:D

FYI: Wolf 12 ga. is a little "hotter" than some US brands. and cheaper to buy
