Looks like they are using Line-x for the coatings of the slide on rail system.

Interesting.

What kind of mags does it use?

I'm pretty sure that they're using the DPMS mags. The prototype I read about a while back was based on a DPMS lower.

I had a chance to shoot a Patriot Ordnance Factory prototype 16" gas piston P-308s (AR10). POF is milling all of their own uppers and lowers for their P415s, P416s, P308s from 7075 T-6 billet aluminum and turning their own barrels. The prototype weighed around 7 lbs without optic and magazines. All of their rifles now have their Corrosion Resistent Operating System (C.R.O.S.) which definitely aids with cycling and the superb Timney drop in AR Trigger. The prototype P308 was using a 1:11 twist and the attached photo demonstrates its potential accuracy. Shots were at 50 yards from an unstable bench rest. Upper is mated with POF's new MRR (modular railed receiver. Bottomline though is the P308s appears to perform as well as the P415s that I have shot.

I suck at posting pictures so I apologize for only being smart enough to make them attachments.

Here is a picture of the prototype P308 in the "white" being tested with Leupold scope in a LaRue Tactical mount.
