Mag pouches for Camelbak Mule

I have MULEs and HAWGs, and like them.

As you've found out, the MULE has limited expansion options due to the small number of PALS channels available. I have been able to mount rifle, pistol, and FAK pouches on mine, but only one at a time. You can stack them, but it negatively affects pack comfort and weight distribution. More than you'd think in a pack this size.

A friend uses a MULE for medic duties. He had PALS added to the top and sides. It's a bit more useful.

Internally, there's sufficient space for a small quantity of those items. I'll see if I have some pics of mine loaded out in various ways.

I did find a picture of one of my HAWGs with attached pouches. Perhaps it's helpful for inspiration. I carried this one with some different pouches attached on several trips, including overseas. Worked well.

Short of sewing on PALS webbing or the pouches directly, you're going to have a tough time of it.

Isn't there something that can hook into the 4 d rings on the front of it?

The D rings were originally designed so you could attach it do armor or some other MOLLE or non-MOLLE platform. I suppose you could tie a bunch of ammo pouches to the D rings using 550 cord....
