My Spikes .22 lr upper fixed itself

My upper was very finicky about ammo. It would only feed Federal plated bullets. After about 3k rounds today I tried Blazer and Ely and it fed both just fine. It must have broken in. I am very happy now as it ran with everything I tried in it today. Where before it would not work with any ammo but Federal.

I had a Volquartsen barrel on a 10/22 that took many, many rounds before it started to function reliably some where in the neighborhood of 1200 rounds.
