FWIW, I went to a MOE stock on one of my carbines from a CTR and thought I would miss the integrated QD cup. I moved the QD cup to my receiver endplate (Noveske and DD products) and have forgotten all about stock mounted QD cup. Having my sling on the stock makes weak side transitions really inconvenient.
