Does anyone besides blackhawk produce a hydration carrier and bladder that is short (6 molle loops high) and wide? Most of the molle carriers that I've seen will hang down off the back of the vest tremendously, somewhere between 8 and 10 molle loops high.

Not as far as I know. I think BPG designed it to fit their proprietary reservoir design, however, it wouldn't surprise me if some of the smaller (72oz) Camelbak Omega reservoirs woudl fit. Most bladders are now 100-102oz, and taller.

Shark,
Who makes a water bladder small enough to fit in a carrier 6 rows high?

I don't know, apparently blackhawk has one that is their own design.

I ordered some blackhawk gear before, and most of it did not make it very long downrange. I was just wondering if any companies made a carrier for any of camelback's 72oz bladders.

Call John at Special Operations Equipment- if you tell him what you want he can probably make you some custom ones however, that Blackhawk version most likely has a proprietary water bladder(hydro-storm POS) that isn't compatible with anything but that carrier.
If it is a big deal, call john, if not, I still wouldn't buy BH.

Camelback makes one that's about 1 quart or so that attaches directly onto the molle. I have one, It's not bad for short duration ops in mild to cold weather.

hello. As far as a hydro carrier goes we can make most any length.

Here is what the standard carrier looks like.

Welcome aboard John, glad to have you here. (cohiba here, conndcj everywhere else)

In addition to hydrocarriers and just about every other piece of tactical nylon you can name, John makes a mean grilling apron as well. :D
