Whats a good rail protector for a 7" Omega? I added that rail to my 6933 today and went to put on some Magpul XT's but they won't fit!! Maybe I just need to take a razor blade and trim off the offending piece at the very end of the XT's?

Trim away, I'd use heavy duty scissors to get a better cut.
I prefer ladders myself but, to each their own. Good luck.

I would advise you to trim of the 2 outer most inner ribs (on the underside) with a sharp knife. You could also look at the XTM panels, as they're modular and you can decide on the length w/o cutting.
