View Full Version : TR24 and Fixed FSP?
Hey guys:
I've been looking around, and have started pondering seriously picking up a TR24 (or other 1-4X optic) for my AR. However, currently it has a fixed FSB (it's a DD M4). Would this optic have problems at 1x with the FSP being fixed?
Any guidance y'all can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have that set up on my Colt and have since gone to a Aimpoint with a 3x magnifier.

Experienced folks here said FSB and 1-4x was not a problem. I mounted a Nikon African 1-4x in a LT-139. They were right. It's NOT a problem. At 1x I can see the FSB in the lower third if I look for it but when running 1x drills offhand shooting, I never even notice it.
A couple shots through my TR24-3G

Like others here have said, the FSP isn't really an issue since it's low enough that it's not in the way of your reticle.
