Im lookin at gettin a three day pack. It will mainly be used as a pack to go on long hikes and hunting with, but will also be used as a BOB or other pack in the even SHTF. These are the two that i've got in mind. Do yall have any other recommendations? If not, which of these two would you consider the better pack? they both seem about the same size, and both have hydration.

Motherlode is a serviceable pack with some different features. The Eagle has better build quality. I have both, and use the latter.

Both do NOT have hydration, unless the retailer is including a reservoir for the Eagle.

Camelbak comes with a reservoir. Eagle's doesn't, though it has a pocket to hold one.

I have a boatload of Camelbaks in various incarnations and 3 Eagle A-III packs. The Eagle is more robust in build, but the Camelbak has a little bit better organization, especially the Motherlode 500 (versus the "standard" military/government Motherlode).
