.40 S&W brass differences

loaded a batch of new remington brass and had no problems at all. after reading reviews about starline brass decided to try em. am about ready to quit using em. the issue is that they are extremely hard to prime, using CCI primers on a HORNADY LNL. the primers range from hard to seat to absolutely refusing to go in more than half way to not at all. every one is a problem. switched back over to remington brass and no problems. don't have any WW or would try them too. is this normal for starline brass? thanks

In all my new commercial loads I use Starline brass. Never had an issue seating primers. Federal, Winchester, Remington, CCI/Speer, and Starline never give issues. It's the off brand stuff that gets hinky.
