As some of you know, I'm in the market for some new boots. While searching around for options and pricing, I came across a company, Botach Tactical. Though they appear to be a very well-known seller of tactical gear, I knew very little about them.

I was shocked and appalled and what I read. And it wasn't difficult to find. Knowing a great many of their customers are likely to be our men and women of the Law Enforcement and Armed Forces communities, reading some of these stories made me sick to my stomach. A good number of stories I had a chance to read were in fact written by members of LE and our Miltary. More than a few were/are stationed overseas.

To keep from typing it all over again, more details can be read in the email I sent to the folks at Botach Tactical.

To whom it may concern:

I am in the market for some tactical items when I stumbled upon your site. What I found was very disheartening and a real shame.

Knowing a vast majority of your potential customer base is likely to be our dedicated men and women of Law Enforcement and our Armed Forces, it's a disgrace that your company is so able and willing to offer them such horrible customer service.

These horrifying reviews couldn't have been easier to find. This is true even for someone who wasn't looking for them. All I did was type "Botach Tactical" into my search engine, and what do you know? On the first page, multiple complaints pertaining to Botach Tactical and your less than desirable business practices. Not only that, but my search engine also suggested I try "botach tactical complaints". That is ultra-scary and disturbing to a potential customer.

I've searched a countless number of your competitors in the past, and I can honestly say that I've never run into anything that even remotely comes close to the disturbing information I've read about your company. I'm fully aware that every company has less than satisfied customers, but I've never seen anything on this level. Never have I seen sites/forums dedicated to such heinous customer service towards anyone, let alone the men and women who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.

I am a member on countless webites and forums whos main audience are those involved in Law Enforcement, Military, Firearms, etc. Though some of them may have already heard about just how repulsive your customer service has been towards the men and women of Law Enforcement and our Armed Forces, I am making it my mission that those who don't already know, do know.

Based on some of the complimentary posts that have so obviously been made by someone within Botach Tactical, I'm sure you all are well aware of at least some of theses sites. Just in case, here is just a few.

None of the above mentioned links get into your shady involvement of the story talked about at the link below.

Similar links and stories seem to be virtually endless, and since my mouse finger is also my trigger finger, it's a good idea that I allow it some time to recuperate. You never know when those zombies will come-a-knockin'.

Regards,

Someone who now knows better than to take a chance buying anything from Botach Tactical

i didnt have a problem recieving my 6920 from them early last year when panic buying first started, the only issue i had was getting ahold of him by phone after i bought the gun off GB, for at the time was a good cheap price of 1400 compared to the avg of 1600+.

Not sure I get the point of this thread: you're rehashing other people's experiences without any of your own.

I've never ordered from Botach so I have no dog in this fight, but I just don't get the motivation for passing on all these second hand stories when there are threads right here on this forum of people with first hand knowledge.

In fact, here's a recent one from one of the Industry Professionals here:

After reading what I've read about this company, I don't think I could force myself to spend your money with them. I'm not interested in being another one of their unsatisfied customers. And after reading what I have, that seems like a very likely possibility.

As I stated eariler, just about any company is going to have upset customers, but I can honestly say that I've never seen anything quite like this. And the fact that a great number of their unhappy customers are LEO's and Military, yes, that greatly upsets me.

I've read quite a few of the threads expressing a negative experience when ordering from botach.

With all the negative experiences in mind, I recently ordered a few glock 22 mags from them. Seeing that I live in the lovely state of new york I inquired if it was possible to purchase them if I supplied them with my LE creds. They responded promptly with how to go about doing just that. From start to finish including the back and forth in the email it took me 8 days for the mags to get to my door. In addition to the excellent price of 19.99 each they had a 10 percent off coupon making it that much better.

I can say I was quite pleased with the ease of ordering and the prompt email responses from customer service. I have no reservations ordering from them.

I have no dog in this fight but...

Beyond you not spending your money there, I probably wouldn't either even without your help, it looks like you are on a mission to make sure others don't.

Can we look forward to more of your reviews of vendors where you wouldn't spend your money?

I had good luck getting a great price on an ACOG from them, just call before you order to see if what you want is in stock.
