I haven't been posting these lately, but this month we had a couple of matches with some pretty interesting stages.

In the area? Look like fun? Come out for our New Shooter Orientation and Qualification (http://tssaidpa.us/wordpress/?page_id=7) on Tuesday, 29 September 2009 at 18:00 at the Markham Park Target Range in Sunrise, FL.

Both vids looked great.

Especially the vehicle stage.

Question, are you running yellow PMags? Did you paint those or did magpul make a run of yellow at some point?

Painted them. There's an article on my site about them, but I'm doing some long-term wear testing of 4 types of paint.

Cool setup. I like the first stage and will use a variant of that for our needs at a shoot I have Saturday morning.

thanks!

When he stepped over my legs?

Yeah, I saw that too. We run a cold range with chamber flags, and I know that guy, but we still need to have a refresher for everyone on muzzle control.

I'd really love to do a statewide match one day, maybe in Orlando. There's the original club that shoots in Lake City up north, and after the SWAT article one of the guys in Orlando was looking into getting started. They have something like 8 bays plus a 200-300 yard range!

Sounds good, I will read the article when work gets boring...

I cross posted the FDCC Sept match announcement over on 68forums.com, we have lots of FLA people there these days, hope to get more of the involved in practical shooting.

If you ever hold a state wide match in Middle Fla (orlando) or N. Fla I will drive down from GA to shoot it.

Looks like you guys are doing excellent training down there rob. Is that a private range?
