My dilemma is this: Of my AR15s, all of my uppers are Colt with the exception of one, which is LMT. I only have one Colt lower. I have spare part kits from both DPMS and Bushmaster, but now I don't know how compatible they all are with the Colt lower. Where can I get spare parts for a Colt lower?

Going to go out on a limb here. Unless you have any thing not DI (like a LMT piston) then everything in the uppers will be the same (bolt, charging handle, etc). In the lowers all the parts would also be standard so the dpms or whatever parts kit you have would work just find. They may not all be up to the same quality standards as the parts in your Colt but they are all the same lower parts.

ETA -- Oops just remembered, I guess some of the pins in the Colt might be the older larger pins but other that they should be the same. Sure an expert can jump in here and give you a bit more detail. Hope this helps.

Older Colt FCG pins are .169 "oversize" -- new ones are .154, like everyone else's pins.

Parts aren't just parts, as quality control issues vary. Grant used to sell a complete quality LPK, but I think he still offers all the parts individually.
