I'm just getting into 1911s. Picked up a Springfield Operator about a month ago and can shoot that pistol more accurately than my XDs, Glocks, you name it. Really like the platform and can see myself becoming a 1911 junkie. What I'm looking for is a comprehensive DVD on maintenance, disassembly, maybe some minor modifications and gunsmith tips for the 1911.
I know there's a lot of good information on the 1911 forums but I would like to find a single, well organized, well photographed with clearly narrated instruction DVD to pop in my laptop right at my bench to get me familiar and comfortable with working on a 1911.
Anybody know of such an animal?
