Has anyone purchased a euro diamond 1x4 scope and how would it compare to the Meopta or IOR illuminated reticles in the same power? I was looking at this scope as a good alternative to the Meopta or IOR and the money saved could buy a LaRue mount. Any suggestions or responses are welcomed.

I spoke with a guy at Buuris a few months ago about this scope. I asked about the battery run time (65 hours from a cr2032?), True 1x when dailed down to 1x, and was the dot visible in bright sun light? (Yes). The reticle is the German #4 with Red Dot.

Have I taken the plunge? No. Still thinking about which optic to go with.

Hope that helped a little.

Popodaman,
Did the rep say that the scope was a true 1x? If so then I would be very interested in it as it works great for hunting and matches.

Been looking at this one from Burris! I would rather have the Leupy but at that price I would rather go with something cheaper!

For the short term I went and bought a Weaver 1x3 that will end up going on my .22 later. I was very impressed with the weaver as it is a true 1x from what I can tell. Easy to shoot with both eyes open, good clear glass and only $159 from Midway. It seems that a few 3 gun guys are runiing these. I will eventuall buy the Burris but I am going to have to wait a little bit.
