i was wondering what the weight differences were between a aimpoint micro in a tall larue mount as opposed to a full size like a ml3 in a tall larue mount was. is there an advantage to the micro other than profile? to me i would think the smaller tube would slow down aquiring the target and shooting from unconventional positions you would need a better cheek position than the larger sights. i wanna like the micro but i'm having trouble buying it. i have a comp c3 on my ak and like it and i am in the market to put one of the above on my ar.
