Hello, I signed up a few days ago and decided I should say hello.
I am in the process of building my first AR as we speak and the knowledge in this forum seems abundant. I started on AR15.com a few weeks ago, but it seems more toned down here.
About me: I have been in the Army for 12yrs, 8 as a Scout and 4 as a Mechanic hence my forum name. I am in the National Guard now and hope to make the last few years to retirement.
I have always loved the M-4 and although I can't afford to buy one, I can at least make one like it! I look forward to getting alot of info here.
Also, I have no Idea what people are talking about when they say "mall ninja" or some variation of it. What really are they talking about? I never asked on AR15.com because I felt that would leave me open to ridicule.
