I had previously posted asking recommendations for upgrading my 1911 from target to service grade. I dropped the full length guide rod installed an ed brown short rod and guide plug with an ismi 16lb spring. It was suggested that i install a 21 or 23lb hammer spring. I have a 19lb now with a nice trigger job, that was a good middle of the road feel, not too light not too heavy. Before i go and put one or the other in, what will I gain in preformance, and or reliability. I just want to understand all the aspects of what such a change will do.:confused:
