What is your favorite free floating 12" "MRE/FSP"-style rail system and why? I've only handled the DD Omega X 12" rails. I'm looking for something similar to add to a 6920.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I like the DD M4A1 RIS II over the FSP model, but thats just me.

The KAC URXII mid-length is another real nice one.

Neither are cheap.

My only concern about the RIS II rails is the unsupported lower front section. I heard that DD was beefing up this area, but I've not read anything about improvements yet. There was a full length one on LF that had cracked in that area.

I only currently own 1, a Troy 12" MRF-CX. It was my only option to install on a 14.5 upper with a perm. attached FH. Installation required sawing off the delta ring and pulling off the snap ring.

Haven't heard anything about it, but if that is your concern, don't buy one. Another option would be to go with the one piece Lite rail.
