I am looking at purchasing my first AR. I am seriously considering the DDXV along with the HDI AR that I placed a like to below. The thing I like about the HDI is the price, along with the fact that I live right up the street from them. Does anyone have an AR made by them? What do you all think??

I'd get the DD after examining and shooting both. The finish was uneven and the staking was terrible on the HD.

Although i don't personally own an HDI AR, i can tell you that the service that you will get from Doc and the boys, is second to none. Great people, and knowledgeable to boot.
IIRC, they offer a LIFETIME warranty on the guns they build. Don't quote me on that. I made my first Suppressor purchase from them. 4 months turnaround, total. Last time I checked, they had a 4 month wait on AR's. I hope it's not that long anymore.
