Magpul lists the Milspec CTR as .48 lbs (7.68 oz) without the receiver extension. The weight you have listed for the CTR is with the receiver extension (12.46 oz).

Do you have a link to that info, I pulled those from the magpul website. Did they have differing weights for any others?

I got it from Magpul's website too. They list both weights for the CTR as well as for the ACS. I've been trying to decide whether I want the CTR for a lightweight build or the ACS with a little more weight for better balance, cheekweld, and storage capability. =)

It amazed me that the ACS weighed almost twice as much as the CTR.
