I got my aimpoint in this morning, i noticed when i turned it to the highest setting i notice a red glare coming off the dot, is that normal?, and what AA Battery are you guys putting in your M4's?

Normal. You're supposed to turn the dot intensity as far down as possible and still be able to distinguish it from your target in your particular light conditions.

Energizer lithium should run almost 10 years at setting #7.

I got the M4S without the QRP because I like the Bobro better, the problem is that I'm waiting for a set of screws from aimpoint, but I'm off today and i was wondering if there was any supplier in the Dallas area that would have a set of the short screws instock that I could go pick up today

Doubtful. Aimpoint typically does not sell the screws.

"Blooming" is normal.

Turn down rheostat to most visible (brightest) DOT w/o blooming.
