My apologies if it's already been posted guys. It should be a sticky in EVERY gun forum on the net.
Not sure if it will help, but it's worth a try...

Here is a link that needs to be posted on EVERY gun forum as well.

This is the link to write your state representatives! ALL states seem to be included! VERY IMPORTANT. Perhaps MORE important than the petition!!!!

New member here checking in. I also signed the petition. I live in Massachusetts and it already sucks here, I cant imagine if this thing passes. If it does become law we will all be in a world of shit! I also just wrote a pile of letters to my representatives and senators, yea fat Teddy Kennedy and John swift boat Kerry. I just hope they don't go directly to the paper shredder.

Warlord out.

Signed it several days ago. What's with the wimpy goals of all the other fluff listed on the most popular petitions? Everyone else has goals under 50,000 signatures or so. We're going for a cool million! :D

McCarthy is pretty much a joke it seems like. None of her ideas seem to take off at all.

Bill Sponsorship & Cosponsorship

Statistics: Carolyn McCarthy has sponsored 92 bills since Jan 6, 1999, of which 89 haven't made it out of committee (Extremely Poor) and 0 were successfully enacted (Average, relative to peers). McCarthy has co-sponsored 1887 bills during the same time period (Exceedingly Many, relative to peers).

I find it funny that having zero bills enacted is considered average relative to peers. How can you do worse than zero? Pretty much all she pushes is junk that doesn't get passed. We should pass a law making it illegal to introduce Saturday Night Special junk bills.

Signed it a little while ago. I've been reading thought the legalize and this part has me a little concerned;

SEC. 7. STRENGTHENING THE BAN ON THE POSSESSION OR TRANSFER OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE.

(a) Ban on Transfer of Semiautomatic Assault Weapon With Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device-

(1) IN GENERAL- Section 922 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by inserting after subsection (y) the following:

`(z) It shall be unlawful for any person to transfer any assault weapon with a large capacity ammunition feeding device.'.

How would you interpret that part?

Remember - liberals are all about making everyone feel good about themselves. Even a loser such as McCarthy is entitled to at least be deemed "average" amongst her peers. Otherwise, she'd suffer self esteem problems.

However in this case I think most of us would agree that we feel much more comfortable with people like her remaining underacheivers.
