My BCM midlength should be on its way to my FFL soon. I'm excited. I've picked up 240 rounds of S&B M193 in preperation, and will probably be picking up the same amount when the rifle comes in.

Just some kind of quick technical questions, because I like to know every damn thing about an item when I purchase it... The BCM barrell is a 1:7, correct? Which grain ammo does it like the best?

I guess I can wait and see, but I hate spending so much on ammo that isn't the "right match" for my rifle.

Generally a faster the twist rate is used to stabilize a heavier bullet. For general purpose plinking you wont notice the difference. But with your 1/7 barrel you can shoot the heavier 70,75,77 grain loads. I would imagine that since you bought a BCM Midlength (guessing it's a standard chrome-lined barrel and not a stainless) your looking for a general purpose use anyway, not match grade accuracy.

Happy shooting

55 to 77 grain loads will be just fine.
