I assembled the upper receiver last night:

Daniel Defense Stripped Upper
Daniel Defense Low Profile Gas Block
Daniel Defense Lite Rail 10.0
BCM 11.5" 410SS 1:8 twist barrel
KAC Hand Stop
Front and rear Magpul MBUS
BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 Charging Handle
BCM Bolt Carrier Group


I'll be mating it with a Daniel Defense lower when the Form 1 approval arrives (hopefully next week). I'll plan on getting an Aimpoint T1 and a Daniel Defense mount.

They were in the original plan but I already had the MBUS and my pregnant wife has recently taken an interest in my spending. :(

nice. mine will be pretty close to this (except for the noveske lower and the MUR upper and well a BCM 12.5 when it comes out). i look forward to more pics and a range report too. nice work.

I really really like the Daniel Defense lower. All else being equal, I think the flared mag-well gives them the advantage.

You're right. It wasn't when I took those pics. I couldn't get the tool over it. I ended up using an open-ended wrench to straighten it out.
