Grade A, B , C for HK PSP's

What do these grades mean.

Do they refer to external wear? Internal Wear?

I see grade C's hitting the market for $530. If I do not care about external wear and want a cheap PSP, should I buy one?

I believe it denotes overall condition of the weapon. I've seen Grade A's that had a bit of finish wear. I bought an A that was ok on the outside but the internals were pristine. Looked like it had maybe a couple hundred rounds through it.

I got one from CDNN, I think it was a B grade, the white of the sights are broken. The outside and inside seem in pretty good shape. It has been my EDC when I'm in town for about 4 months, since I got a Comptac for it.

My understanding is that the rating was for the internals and bore, not based on how it looked? I don't know if different vendors have different systems, or if they where all graded by HK.

Cool gun, I think it is a little snappy. Mags are the real issue. They have been pretty scarce as far as I can see. Most guns only come with one mag.

Mine P7PSP arrived from TGS. This was a grade C firearm.

I took it apart last night for a more detailed inspection. Maybe HK refinished the internals but they look pristine. The external finish looks like the TGS add I received in the e mail.

I received a P7 from TGS on Saturday and the internals were very clean also. HK rated these on external wear.

I put 30 rounds through it on Saturday and 100 rounds on Sunday and I can't seem to get the tip of the piston clean. I know you're not supposed to but I didn't figure it would be that hard with that little ammo going through it. These guns get very dirty.

Maybe i'm doing something wrong but i'm not getting groups with this gun. At 5 yards with a G19 I get nickel sized groups.
